Description
This is the first part of the Scalemate tutorial I made! If you want to post this on Tumblr, please reblog it from my original post! Also if you have any questions or comments, please contact me on my Tumblr!
Pattern:
(Ignore the part where it says to wait until I tell you to cut the pieces out, just do it all at once. I don't care)
Basically copy/paste these into Microsoft Word or some other similar program and fit them to the page. Alternatively, photoshop them to be 8.5"x11".
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
NOTE: These patterns are NOT MINE! They are Metroid Hat's! Metroid's tutorial was taken down, so I thought I'd make another, since this is such a great pattern.
Materials
(There are some things on here that aren't on the tutorial because I derped and forgot them :/)
-Fabric: You don't need very much. I got wayyyy too much the first time, but I think about 1/4 to 1/3 of a yard (on a bolt 3 feet wide) would suffice for the body and less than 1/4 for the stomach. I use fleece, but pretty much any fabric will work. Fleece is soft and easy to work with, which is why I chose it. Or, alternatively, you could get scraps (I know they sell them at Joann's, but I don't know abuot other fabric stores). Scraps are usually the last bits of a bolt they can't sell normally, so they discount them a little bit.
-Stuffing (I use poly fiberfill from Joann's.)
-Buttons: I use the Favorite Findings Big Basic Buttons from Jo-ann's.
-Thread
-Needle
-Pins
-Scissors

Please DO NOT make these to sell! They are Andrew Hussie's intellectual property and you CANNOT make a profit off of them!

That poly fiberfill link got taken down or something - how much stuffing do you need?
